If you can't learn to sing Da Tempeste so it just flies out of your mouth then don't sing it. Handel just has to fly! She's so engulfed in her technique the aria never gets off the ground. Great coloratura is worked like scales on the piano until your voice takes over and you sing it in your sleep.

Too slow and voice is pinched and cold which affects the intonation. Not my kind of voice at all. She actually opens up more above high C then she does throughout the rest of her voice.

In all of her press I don't see any mention of who she's studied with. Certainly someone deserves some credit for teaching her to sing the way she does or at least for keeing her voice from the dumper where so many fine voices end up with bad teaching or being pushed beyond their development.
