First off my name is Ellen, but I liked to be called Ellie. =]

Music and singing have been such a huge part of my life since I was very little. My mom would put on the Sound of Music and my sister and I would dance around and sing along with the movie. Fun times! lol I started singing in my church childrens choir and my schools when I was in Kindergarten and really ever since then I have been in Choirs. In High School I was in both my schools Concert and Chamber choirs which was an amazing experience and honestly one of the best times in High School. We were all really close and sang well and got awards that proved that fact. =)

Now I attend Chico State! I am currently a Vocal Performance Major which is amazing because every day I get to learn more and more about singing, writing, performing, the history and everything about music! I feel blessed to be studying such and amazing art form. I am in the Acapella choir and Chamber Singers and Opera Workshop at Chico State. The school year 07-08 was my first time EVER getting one on one vocal lessons. So I am starting on that road and improving my voice even more, I do feel it is stronger than past years. Being a Vocal Performance major I do lots of Opera and Classical music, which I enjoy doing, but what I dont enjoy is not being able to sing any thing else. I LOVE singing show tunes, pop songs, R&B, and so much more.

That is why I created a YouTube account, for the chance to sing those songs and for fun. I hope you have fun looking through and watching my videos =)
