Truman was the most underrated President. Sinise was good but in my opinion Ed Flanders was the definitive Truman, wish I could get a copy of the one he did in the 70's I think, Plain Speaking.

Wow!! How wonderful to find this movie on YT!! Thank you SO much for uploading! I remember seeing this when it first came out in 1967. Julie Andrews was in Sound of Music in 1965 I was 12 then and my parents just adored her -- she was and still is a talented lovely class act.

Tex and Edna split up on one episode and Edna was all alone with no one at the organ - sobbing. HYSTERICAL!!

this was beautifully done -- thank you so much -- the score was just magnificent, if ever more apropos for a motion picture, one could visualize the crashing of the waves and whitecaps of a turbulent sea, as well as the beauty, sensitive poetry of the love story. Simply magnificent.

The RKO story, Fred and Ginger details the difficulty they had doing this scene, MANY takes, Fred's toupee flew off in one. Ginger's feet bled. We will never see the likes of them again.
