ATTENTION DOGMATISTS:

I have been very troubled lately by the dogmatism of many professing Christians. DOGmatism will turn you into a dog, dogmatically biting and fighting over theological subjects. As for me, I am determined to not argue, debate or fight about anything except this ESSENTIAL TRUTH...

JESUS CHRIST is GOD and JESUS CHRIST is my SAVIOR because HE PAID for all my sins.

What is a CHRISTian?

A CHRISTian is any person who RELIES ENTIRELY ON CHRIST for salvation. A CHRISTian has a sincere, heartfelt FAITH in the person and finished work of JESUS CHRIST. A CHRISTian DEPENDS ENTIRELY (100%) on Jesus' death on the cross as a full payment for all their sins.

So...what must we do to be saved? Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved (period) see Acts 16:30,31

We are saved through FAITH ALONE IN CHRIST ALONE and if you add any additional requirements for your salvation then you are not saved because you did not place your complete reliance on Jesus as your Savior.

Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

I REBUKE AND DENOUNCE ANYONE WHO ADDS ANY OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR SALVATION. (including but not limited to the following)

Lordship salvation
repent of your sins
stop sinning
promise to stop sinning
turn over a new leaf
get water baptised
recite the sinners prayer
recite a creed
go forward at the alter call
etc. etc. etc.

This is the most fundamental question; "do you want to go to heaven when you die?"

Surprisingly, some people actually say "no". Now, if you do not want to go to heaven when you die then that is ok with me.

But...if you say "yes, I want to go to heaven", then I want to tell you THE WAY to get there. There is only One Way...JESUS IS THE WAY, the Truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through Jesus. So, what must you do to be saved? You must "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ".

At the very instant that you have this sincere, heartfelt belief, you are indwelled with the Holy Spirit (Born again) and it is final! You can not lose your salvation for ANY reason. Halleleujah!

MY STATEMENT OF FAITH

*Salvation is a free gift from God and the gift of salvation is graciously offered to everyone.
*We receive the gift of salvation and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
*Faith is the only requirement to receive the gift of salvation.
*Saving faith is faith in the Person and finished work of Christ.
*I have faith in the Deity of Christ.
*I have faith that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead.
*I have faith that Jesus' death on the cross served as a full payment for ALL my sins.
*I have faith that "it is finished"...my salvation is eternally secure. I can not lose it for ANY reason.

I am not a Calvinist because Calvinism attacks the "character and nature of God." I am not Armenian because Armenianism attacks the "finished work of Christ on the cross".

The TRUTH is we have a "free will"... the ability to believe or reject the free gift of salvation. BUT once we have believed...then our salvation is irrevocable by God or by us. In other words...we have free will BEFORE we come to the cross but we have eternal salvation AFTER the cross.
