I think she actually -is- singing along to the play-back. I'm pretty sure that's her live voice harmonizing at 1:49. (x Her mike's definitely on, and you can actually hear it a bit throughout. Playback is louuuud, though.

Taylor uses a waterproof eyeliner (I... can't remember the brand, actually - I think she mentioned it in her Material Girls interview, lol), but the downside is it doesn't smudge, so she has to use black eyeshadow over it to get that skull-socket effect. (:

It looks almost as if Jessica is 'covering' Melody, and Kim is 'covering' Nicole during the breakdown. x) I guess it's natural, since that's the dancers' two seconds of fame! Loved Carmit's and Kim's energy during the performance, though.
