@MrGraphis Unfortuanately when the execs see dollar signs in a certain phenomenon, the whole thing gets absorbed and assimilated. Although I have to point out that there isn't as stiffling an environment now as there was then. So not as much to shake up

@gymbo96 I'm 44 years old and I think Green Day is the only Punk band left. I love that they are carrying the torch of old roots punk like the Ramones and playing the same style for a younger audience - nothing wrong with that!

Grew up in Chicago watching him on a little black and white tv. He gave me so many great memories. Even my mother liked watching him without knowing the first thing about football. "It's like watching a beautiful horse run" she said. RIP Mom and RIP Walter. Connie sure knew how to pick 'em

i always thought that the point of this movie was that the real nightmare was the regimented, controlled environment of training and then the war was a real gas. jolly green giants walking the earth with guns!

great early film but it's clear the band didn't really take shape until Harrison joined

this isn't the Velvets.....Nico had a solo career after the '67 record and Lou played on alot of those early songs. I think John and Sterl also played on some so it's sort of Velvety but it's not strictly the band here
