I like this video, but I disagree with the grappling part. To counter a grappler, you need to be a better grappler. A grappler has a better chance of not fighting on the ground/getting off the ground than a person who refuses to take grappling. Even the finger breaks, eye gouges, dirty tactics...

I've always wanted to spar outside my jkd school, but im afraid the outside people won't like me because most of my combos revolve around the stop kick to the knee. What's your opinion on the stop kick...would people care? I hope the knee isn't a touchy subject.

The guy in the red can't intercept because his arm is shorter. I wouldn't have used JKD against another JKD with a longer weapon. Atleast when legs aren't involved. Therefore the guy in the red should have tried a more defensive approach. Maybe block and then attack on recovery?
