Simone Borghi, born in Ancona in 1975, at the age of 15 became one of the most active pop musicians in the Marche region. After a decade of paying dues in Italy, Simone reached Los Angeles where he recorded his first album, For Many Years in 2003 with the support of musician and producer James Raymond (son of David Crosby, co-founder of the Byrds and American super group Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young), world famous drummer Vinnie Colaiuta (who has recorded with Sting, Frank Zappa, Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock, Jeff Beck and many others) and John Fogerty's bass player David Santos. Two years later Borghi came back in the USA to produce the single By The Moon with James Raymond, Vinnie Colaiuta and King Crimson's bass player Tony Levin, who collaborated with musicians like Peter Gabriel, John Lennon, Paul Simon, Lou Reed and David Bowie. In 2007 he produced State Of Grace Documentary DVD & BOOK which tells about his musical experience in the United States Of America and he founded the SBP (Serpilli Borghi Productions), his own record label and artist management agency which promotes art, books, movies, music and fashion exhibitions at international level through the annual Los Angeles Art Gallery in association with the American agency NYX Productions. In 2008 Borghi recorded the album Online (co-produced by Italian producer Pietro Nobile) with Toto members Steve Lukather and Simon Phillips, guitarists Frank Gambale, Dean Parks and Brian Ray (from Paul McCartney's band) and jazz pianist from New York City, Rachel Z. In 2009 he became a member of ASCAP (The American Society Of Composers, Authors and Publishers) as publisher/composer and of The National Academy Of Recording Arts & Sciences in the Los Angeles Chapter. In 2010 Simone Borghi presented his record Online in California at the Namm Show international music products exhibition in the Reference Laboratory guitar cables company booth and the single titled Every Night Together, performed with Italian blues singer Linda Valori, was considered for the 52nd Grammy Music Awards nominations in three categories: song of the year, record of the year and best collaboration with vocals. As well as Borghi himself was considered as best new artist and for best male pop vocal performance participating as Recording Academy voting member at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards telecast on January 31, 2010 from Staple Center in Los Angeles on the American CBS Television network. Many important artists and producers of the international music industry like Quincy Jones, Elton John, Lionel Richie, Celine Dion and winners Lady Gaga, Beyoncè and Taylor Swift joined the event. During the same year Borghi produced the single It Makes No Sense and the following year he released Acoustic Night In Firenze live DVD & CD which was premiered in Italy at the Umbria Jazz Festival 2011.
