About this user

Silvered formed in march 2007 in Lecce, Italy and was brought together by Daniele Rini (voice & lyrics) and Luca Mazzotta (guitar). The current line-up includes also Mauro Lorenzo (drums), Stefano De Laurenzi (piano & synth), Frank Bursomanno (bass) and Giuseppe Ferilli (guitar). The name derived from "silvered key"of the oneiric world created by H.P. Lovecraft, lyrics are inspired by literature, visions and nightmares. It's an eclectic project: melodic death metal with growling, screaming and clean vocals that has incorporated progressive music, gothic elements, rock and acoustic interludes. The band played more than 200 live shows (often acoustic performances under the light of candles) and released "Music for your Sleepless Nights" (mini cd, 2007), "The Unplugged Night LIVE" (recorded live, 3rd may 2008) and "Dying Light" (promo cd, 2008). Silvered appeared in the "Imago Sound Creative Compilation Vol.1" (including the unreleased track "Another Leaf Comes Down - Acoustic Reprise", 2009) and in the "WorlDEMOns 2009" (including the song "Helpless Soul", 2009). During the year 2010 the band works very hard, the result is "Grave of Deception", the Silvered first full-length cd, a concept album on the incapacity to accept reality as it is perceived. It describes a personal inner struggle, a gloomy journey through soul's alienation in the real world and the darkness of the oneiric dimension. The work is based on the Lovecraftian horror/fantasy tell "The Story of Brian Empty" written by Daniele Rini. Album songs include the entire repertoire of the band, from the metal side to the most intimate and acoustic moments. Now everything is ready and the band is looking for a label. In the meantime working on the live unplugged DVD "A Night of Deception" and on the official videoclips of the songs "The Silent Moan" and "Sad Eyed Liar".
