Here's a very cheesy, but fun, music video for Mary and Matthew from Downton Abbey.
The song is "At The Beginning" from the film Anastacia and it just suits them so perfectly!
They really have been through a lot the last two series and now, with the Christmas special, they are at the end of all that angst and are finally at the beginning of being together! ;-)
It's also really nice to finally be able to make a happy video for them! Let's hope series 3 stays relatively happy too!

Mary and Matthew clips from the Downton Abbey Series 2 Christmas special.
Back in September, when series 2 first aired, I set myself the challenge of making a fanvideo for every episode of Downton Abbey this series. As the Christmas special is sort of part of series 2, I thought it was only fitting to make one for the Christmas special too!
So I hope you enjoy watching it. It's longer than usual, because there were just so many brilliant Mary and Matthew moments and it was an extended episode. The last scene has been edited a bit, but I've tried to get all the key lines of dialogue in! It was very tempting to just have all their scenes in! :-)
The music is once again from the Land Girls' film soundtrack and this video uses the track "The End" from the closing credits (quite fitting I think!).
Got to wait until September now for some more episodes, but I'm sure I'll keep making Mary/Matthew videos to tide me over. Oh and I'm always after song suggestions!

Music video for Mary and Matthew from Downton Abbey - covers series 1 and 2.
The song is from the Downton Abbey soundtrack and it's called "Did I Make The Most of Loving You", sung by Mary-Jess.
Supposedly, she wrote the song for the soundtrack with Mary and Matthew in mind, so a very fitting song for them I think. And thanks to eolivet for suggesting this song to me.
Let's hope the "endless, lonely days are through" in the Christmas special!

Mary and Matthew clips from Downton Abbey Series 2, Episode 2.
I have set myself the challenge of making a fanvideo for every episode of Downton Abbey this series. I decided to redo my episode 2 video, so that it used music from the same soundtrack as the other episode videos.
The music, therefore, comes from the Land Girls film soundtrack again and I hope you like the video.
Hopefully the Christmas special will be full of happy moments for them, so I can make a more cheerful video.

The last in my weekly challenge to make a Mary/Matthew video for every episode this series.
This weeks was very hard to make, well the first part wasn't, but the latter part was. As the aim of this challenge is to capture the Mary/Matthew relationship for each episode, I felt it would have been cheating to not include the latter part - despite how sad it is.
Sadly I have yet to be able to make a happy epidose video for them, so let's hope the Christmas special is full of cheer for them instead!
The music is again from the Land Girls film soundtrack - The first tune is called "The Kiss" - quite appropriate that! ;-)
