I got lucky enough to watch this in 4th grade. (The 94'-95' school year) The best part was that it was on an old school film projector, the rolls of film and all. That was an interesting year in school.

@tyrannysouls Yep, I remember the Bart phase. I look back and think of how long ago it was, then reality snaps into my head and then I say, "Man, that was like 20 years ago." One my nephews brought out an old Bartman comic with an advertisement for the show Dinosaurs on the back.

The first time I was bit was when I was like 5 or 6. I didn't see it at first, but I heard it. That low pitched buzz. WZZZZZZZZZ. Now, for some reason, I can make them attack other people, somewhat.

@keshalashay Nice post. I always watched the show, at first it was on before I went to school, then they started showing it after I got home from school. So sad about Thuy Trang.

@girlygirl850 The Simpsons made their first appearence in 1984 on some prime time show, the in 1990 the show made it's true premiere.

@wtcvidman Of course you see cereal mascots these days, The Trix Rabbit is still trying to get Trix cereal, and he's trying the yogurt too. Sonny was last seen with his grandpa, Toucan Sam has been on a 4-5 year journey with his nephews. You see the mascots, but just not like how we saw them.

Just four toys, not hard to collect. But I never got them all.

@rfinch87 It's worse when you have to tell your nephews that the show was on many years before they were born. They eventually changed it to eastern Europe.

I had Kermit. I was living in Washington state, in the year 1988. It was the first thing I opened on that Christmas day.

Ah! I remember these, it was christmas of 1988. I got Kermit, he was the first thing I opened that day. My oldest sister got Miss Piggy, and my other older sister got Fozzie. Best Christmas of the 80's for me. :^D Love that feeling of memories reopened.

It took me a while to find Ducklett. I was trying too hard I guess.
