@staminapromos aside from a few shots with yip man, i've never seen bruce lee applying true wing chun principles (i.e complete relaxedness, centre line, proper chi sau), let alone basing jkd on it. he learnt wing chun when he was 13 for what, 2 years? it's simply not wing chun without those princ...
