In 1998, on my 8th birthday, I was given my first drum kit. I didn't know it yet, but my fate had been decided. I started playing in bands my freshman year of high school, but also played hockey just as much as the drums (surprising considering I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas). As I aged, the demand of these two passions grew. The time had come for me to realize my fate. I chose the life of a drummer and have loved every second of it. From a young age, I have been very lucky to be surrounded by seasoned musicians. This demanding environment has played a vital role in the fast development of my chops and drum vocabulary. When I was 14 years old, the band I was with was recording some demo tracks at a studio in Austin, TX. This is when I discovered my coinciding passion, producing music. I then started reading everything I could about how to create my own recording studio. I now play with numerous projects around town and run my own recording studio. I have been lucky enough to have extremely supportive parents and peers who have helped me on his journey, which is far from over. My influences include Daniel Adair, Neil Peart, Carter Beauford, Rick Allen, and Dr. Luke.
