I have a keen interest in pop culture, also war studies - particularly WWII (all theaters), WWI, American Civil, Vietnam. I've been to the Somme/Ypres/Paeschendale and various WWI battlefields/cemeteries/memorials so I fully appreciate the sacrifices British/Canadian & other Commonwealth soldiers made (and continue to make daily in foreign lands). I'm a huge fan of the Sci Fi/Fantasy genre and always make time to watch my fave tv shows (thank god for Sky TV)!

All-time favourite tv series' - True Blood. Other random faves - Trailer Park Boys, Breaking Bad, Fringe, Dexter, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Eastbound & Down, American Dad, Family Guy, Celebrity Juice, Chuck, South Park, Deadliest Catch, Ice Road Truckers, Phoenix Nights, Spaced, The Office, Inbetweeners, Royle Family, Father Ted. All time fave movie - Kelly's Heroes. Also Ice Cold In Alex, Enemy at the Gates, Saving Private Ryan, Serenity, Kill Bill(s), Pulp Fiction, Underworld(s), Lord of the Rings, In Bruges, Nacho Libre, Zack/Miri, Sex Drive, Knocked Up, The Girl Next Door, Hot Fuzz, Borat, Deuce Bigalow(s), National Lampoons Vacation(s), Hot Rod, Shaun of the Dead, Shawshank Redemption, 28 Days/Weeks Later. Far too many to mention really!
