1-10 of 18Husband and wife team Shirley HAN Ying and Chris Gelken created Ridealist more than two years ago to produce short videos and photography to showcase the efforts of grassroots non-profits who otherwise would not have ready access to media. Since 2009, we have produced more than a dozen short videos for NPOs in China, Hong Kong and Uganda. Ridealist offers tailored content in English and Chinese on an entirely pro-bono, volunteer basis.

About Ridealist - an idealist with a realistic approach
Chris and Shirley share a common passion -- sharing stories that demonstrate how we all can contribute to building a better, cleaner, greener, more caring world.
Through video, the written word and photography, Chris and Shirley endeavour to showcase the efforts of the countless groups and individuals who generously give up their time to make a positive contribution to society.
While doing valuable work in the community, many of the smaller groups are often unable to effectively bring their message to a wider audience and potential contributors.
Chris and Shirley hope to fill that need.
As a team, Chris and Shirley have accumulated many years of experience in broadcast, print and online media - offering NGO/NPOs tailored and well structured content in English and Chinese on an entirely volunteer basis.
