Maggie was diagnosed with mast cell cancer (a golf ball tumor in her nose) in August of 2006.After prednisone and steroid injections Maggie had to have a hyper active thyroid gland removed in September that became the number one concern. She received chemo treatments until mid October when we had to stop them because she was getting extremely weak from the side effects. Maggie was sliding fast in a direction that did not have a good outcome and it didn't look like she was going to make the holidays.
I did research on holistic diets and natural supplements and kept an open mind to alternative treatments.Maggie went to Tuft's in February 2006 for an exam and the tumor appeared gone. It has been over a year and she is doing awesome and acts like a younger dog.
I hope you get to read some of Maggie's heartwarming stories and she is truly an 'Angel' with four legs.
