I started playing back in '89. I've played in a couple of bands in the Bay Area and competed in guitar competitions several years ago.
I appreciate good guitar playing, no matter what genre. As far as influences go, Slash, Preston Esq. and Logan inspired me to pick up the guitar. Malmsteen, Gilbert and Darrell inspire me to get better.
Yes, I am a gearwhore. My portfolio consists of investment vehicles with strings and knobs.
I haven't been playing as much these past few years and my videos are pretty simple, just a guy trying to re-connect with the same instrument he fell in love with as a young dreamer...

Btw, let's not talk about guitar players with bad vibrato, specially Mark Tremonti. He deserves to be bludgeoned with his prs signature model. He can't even bend a note. I can't believe why so many kids like that poser, calls himself a shredder, always dropping names, pfft!...I guess the late 90's, early 2000's were pretty bleak for guitarists.... We can talk about Kirk Hammett. He's cool (he's a partial-flip brother, and I like Metallica).
