About showshelties's channel

I have been involved with dogs and showing dogs for many years, since childhood. I currently owner-handle my Shetland Sheepdogs in conformation, obedience, rally obedience and agility events. I value the total dog and work towards enthusiasm, drive, biddability and versatility in my dogs and my program. I am employed as a positive dog (er, people *g*) trainer, teaching basic obedience and manners. All of my free time is spent showing and training my own dogs, and bettering myself and my knowledge as a trainer and competitor.

On a lighter note, I'm a certifiable fangirl and shipper. Any non-dog subscription I have on you-tube is most likely related to one of my many fandoms! Suffice it to say- I'm a geek!

I have titled my Shelties in conformation, obedience, rally, agility, and therapy work. I am currently trialing my Trevor in Rally and Agility, he is titled in both of these venues and also in obedience. He has multiple perfect 100 scores in Rally. I am also preparing my AKC/UKC/INTL breed Champion for obedience and rally.

Please don't laugh at my running! *G* I have patellofemoral syndrome and will likely need knee injections or knee surgery at some point, and things like running or climbing stairs are very difficult for me.
