This election year, 29 million young adults will have their very first opportunity to vote for President of the United States?yet many may not plan on turning out on Election Day, choosing instead to go shopping: the #1 activity young adults partake in outside of their homes (Cassandra Report, 2007).

With these facts in mind, the two leading groups focused on reaching young adults around these issues, Access 360 Media (www.access360media.com) and 18 in '08 (http://18in08.com), have joined forces to create Shop The Vote (www.shopthevote.org), the first digital out-of-home public service campaign designed to reach these critical citizens before November 4 in the environments that matter to them most?in stores, online and on their mobile phones. Running throughout the election, Shop The Vote aims to inspire and empower young adults to join the conversation in new and appealing ways.
