I love this song. For some reason, Dave Berry covered a lot of Bobby's US and Canadian hits, like this one and "Voodoo Woman".

I remember this song well. If you listen to the lyrics, it's kind of sad.

Eighth Wonder were popular for a while, but not this song, though I tihnk it was a big hit in Japan. "Cross My Heart" and "I'm Not Scared"/J'ai Pas Peur" were bigger in the US and Canada.

I remmber this song. It wasn't a huge hity, but it did get played on the radio. The dresses remind me of "Tu", who were also popular around the same time. ("Tu" were really twins; at first I thought they were Olivia Newton-John.)

@venuspluto67 Almost ALL Greatest Hits albums do this, and then they put in "bonus songs" on them that were really considered too bad to put on any album. This song, in particular, though, was a hit in North America, but wasn't even released as a single.

@impassable Her name is Peggy Santaglia, and she's still around. In fact, quite a few of her compositions (she wrote songs as well) were quite big hits.

The "thoughts" they are thinknig made me literally laugh out loud.

I used to have my own front-loader that could heat the water to near boiling, (it also had a stainless-steel outer tub), kept it ajar when not in use, and it NEVER smelled. I moved into a house where if the door is closed, it bulds up a smell, but the combo of using Tide Affresh a couple times, ...

The Paper Dolls were a hoot... For some reason, there weren't that many BRITISH girl groups, though ones from the US were quite popular, especially the Supremes, who weren't really a GIRL group, more like a female singing group. (Yes, there's a difference.)

I had this when I was a kid...

I remember the instrumental version and also Peggy March's version... She was quite popular in Germany. A lot of her later English hits were remakes of German songs... (I think this one might have originally been French, though.)

Oh yes, this was a Top 5 hit in the US and Canada, and Top 10 in the UK.

This song is the ultimate "revenge" song... and she does it all to herself...
