the word of sahabe of Prophet was not used as any privilage what so ever!
In Quran was used for Dog or Kafir and Mushrik.
As in Quran was used even for Dog with Ashabi Kahf, or for Kuffar or Mushrik with Yousif[as].
Every one call himself one of Ansar or Mohajerin ,or simply Muslim! during time of prophet(pbuhahf) ! so status of Sahabi was created after him.
But the shia term is quranic and used in prophet time!
The Qur'an makes no reference to Ahl'ul Sunnah wa al Jamaah, nor can we find this term from Hadeeth. On the other hand we see that the term Shi'a is used at numerous places in the Qur'an. In addition to that, Ahadeeth also make reference to the Shi'a.

The Shi'a are exclusive beneficiaries of having their name mentioned in the Qur'an and Hadeeth. The other Sects have not been bestowed with this honour.
Whoever saw prophet even for one moment is called Sahabi!

sahabe could be anyone that seen close to the prophet ,even Abu-Sufyan or Abu-Jahl or Abu-Lahab!
even the Kofar in prison with joseph were called Sahabe!
we have Ashabe Narr or Ashabe Jannat!
all depends on their Actions and faith!
not bcz they were close(physically) to him!
but faithfully and deeds wise!
Shia was used by Quran and prophet and prophet assigned the true and just,and guided Imam for them!

why don't we all do Salewat upon rasoul and only his Ale Muhammad(as)[Ahlul Bayt]
So Imams(his Etrat) are Qualified by Allah(swt) and his Rasoul(pbuhahf) to teach the true Sunnah of Prophet !
along with true meanings of Quran!(righteous teachers)!
same Theghl with Quran,therefore obeying them is mandatory from Allah and his Rasoul for guidance and to be accepted!

Imam Ali[as] said for 23 years he was patient like broken bone in his Throat and thorns in his eyes.Yes he gave everything to protect Islam like his own baby from Hands of Koffar[internals and externals] and gave everything for it.
You need to thing before U respond back.instead of coming back and say why Umar accusing that brave and Faithful man of Islam[the same as Nabi] of stealing and threaten to cut his hands! you come back again and saying that He gave his daughter!?How dare you ignore your own books! about Heaven is promised, It was promised to all Muslims if they do good deeds! the same as wives and son can be Sahabis? then how Quran give example from prophet that like wives of Noah and Lot as Kaffir and in the hell fire or son of Noah as Kaffir?
How about the Hoze[pool] Hadith that all Sahabis go to the hell fire except few bcz for what they did or the verses about the deeds of them perished or if they annoy prophet they go to the hell fire or..
Thus Islam and its Prophet hold Imam Ali[as] back.He was indeed the Hero in smaller Jihad[Asghar] and the Graeter Jihad[Akbar[by his Patient against their Zolm and Fisad] go read His Nahjol-Balagheh[shaq-shaqiyah Khotbih about their Fisad ].
First of all I did not say Quran is corrupt, but its true meanings is what Imam Ali[as] provided by the command of Nabi[pbuhahf] but those Fasid Kholafa rejected it bcz it contained what they were afraid of[exposing the true nature of them].So Quran has been collected during the Time of Prophet and all details recorded by Imam Ali[as].
In your books saying Abu-Bakar did it then Omar then Othman, all above is nothing but insult to Quran bcz even Omar said in So-youti that 2/3 of Quran is missing,some Surah are shorter and even Aysha saying that Goat ate it but she continued giving Fatwa based of milking Woman,s Breasts into mouth of grown up man?!
I believe you need to educate yourself by watching all videos about the true face of them and evidences from your own books.

4/4 Quran saying that from them[men al] not all of them and another factor was they had to be kind and nice to Ahlul bayt[as] and harsh on Enemies of Allah[swt] not other way around;being coward in the battle fields and leaving Prophet behind in the hands of Kuffar and Mushrekeens ,That alone indicates that they had no faith of Allah[swt] not about what prophet commanding and saying .Shia clearly in my profile shows that taking/obeying what prophet gave is to be shia of Imam Ali[as] not the Shia of Abu-sofyan[LA] as Imam Hussain[as] told those Bastards in Ashura that wanted to kill the son of the Prophet[sawaws]
always seek the truth and accept the light of guidance and leave the darkness behind bcz this life is short and the here after eternal!
