You nailed it - we just dropped it right in the middle with the mic sensitivity set to 7 out of 100. The H4n can pick up leaves falling outside. Very neat device. Thanks for the compliment!

Cool- thanks. Yes, my Fender has passive pickups. There's a 1/4" jack for passive inputs.
