Some of you will remember a French singer from the 60's, Francoise Hardy..she was touring at the same time a little known English band, The Beatles were touring Germany. Two very good friends of mine interviewed her (one of them spoke French) for our school paper..and if you're good I'll let you see the interview in my collection of Wolf Calls. I have included some of her songs in my You Tube player here. These songs..the MoTown sounds, the "bubble gum" sounds of the late 50's and early 60's, the rock and roll..these are the soundtracks of my life..throw in some (a lot) Blues and cool Jazz and you get the whole mix. A little German Opera would have to be mixed in there too! Oh, and a polka or two! Don't forget my favorite 30's and 40's movie bites!
