Grew up on a Texas cattle ranch just outside Fort Worth. My maternal grandfather was born/raised on a Cherokee res in Oklahoma. So my brothers and I grew up with a meld of cowboys and Indians. :) I'm an IT consultant in Fort Worth, Texas concentrating on home and small business networks.

I love my country and am very disturbed at the downward trends we've been taking for the past 20 years or more.

If we leave government to itself and remain apathetic, we'll lose our nation as we know it. And something horrendous will take it's place. REAL change will come when regular citizens have had enough and when we get some men and women in Washington that actually love this country, and respect it.

What we have now with Frank, Pelosi, Reid, and the other socialist members of the liberal party (Which includes a sizeable number of the democrat party) is a group of individuals that are striving to destroy us from within. That's how the communists gain control over a big healthy nation. They can't beat us down with force. So they have to bleed us dry financially, and turn us against one another by trying to cause division anywhere they can.

The old saying, United we stand, Divided we fall, is still true today.

*Join political groups (there are several good ones online), check out the awesome blogs that folks like you are putting up every day, *JOIN IN THE TEAPARTY MOVEMENT. *Call your state reps and congress people--*DO SOMETHING POSITIVE to regain control and put sanity back in our leadership. *Run for office if you can, there are some places where Democrat fatcats have absolutely NO competition. A friend of mine in gov't in PA was telling me last night that there were several congressional seats where NO ONE ran against the incumbents in the last election.
