@batt10man Sorry I took so long to respond. Understand the law states we can run these on our pov's, but only with a valide signed blue light permit from the chief. If the department you join does not allow it, you will not be able to run emergency lights.

@FutureDevilDogMPSam I can not answer that for Hawaii. Every agency is different. My department is 100% volunteer. I make every alarm unless I am at work or out of town.
My suggestion is you talk to the Chief officers and ask them.
