About Me:
I may or may not have been caught by countless pedestrians, drivers at traffic lights, and people in parking lots during my Kelly Clarkson jam-outs when I forget that car windows are not sound-proof. I also may have channeled Emily Deschanel singing "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" or "Hot-Blooded" one too many times. (I know what you're thinking: That's crazy--there is no limit to how many times a person should channel Kelly Clarkson or Emily Deschanel.)
So anyway, I love writing parodies and putting together mashups so thought I'd share them. If you like my vids, please give them a thumbs up and you'll get a giant cyber hug from me, a sense of social well-being... and possibly a nickel. (Ok there's no nickel.)
Someone once called me "a unique blend of delightful inexperience"...oh no wait... that was me. :) I hope to entertain a few other people besides myself. If any of my vids make you happy, that makes me extra happy!
The mashups are acapella b/c I don't know how to play guitar (but I am a very slightly-above-average clapper & snapper). I'd LOVE to learn to play one day—but if I understand correctly, I would in fact need a guitar for that and I'm not sure how much skill & focus I'd be able t—...omg what is this song?... *gasp* I love it!...This is officially my new favorite song! I must memorize all of the lyrics immediately. *plays on repeat 100x* (I may have a patience problem...)
I wish the best for every singer I've seen/heard/met through youtube. Whether you're trained or not, a serious artist or just having fun, dreaming big or just taking things day by day, you're ALL awesome for putting yourself out there & inspiring all of us. Please keep going! I can't even keep up w/watching all the fabulous people I'm subbed to, and the people I continue to find and be introduced to. There are just so many amazing, creative, cool & truly talented singers here! Just know you all have my support. Dream big & have fun along the way! :D

*Kelly's 5th album Stronger is BEAUTIFUL & amaz-ah-zing!! So happy to finally have new music from her! Been a diehard fan since Idol & I can't wait to see her on tour again--yay!! I love Sugarland too. I haven't seen them live yet but really hope to next time they tour. I adore Jennifer Nettles' voice.
**I love Karmin's creative covers & original songs SO MUCH! Such creative/fun/unique vids--I've watched them so many times & seriously adore them. Dare you to watch a Karmin video or interview & not go "awwww" from start to end. They're the cutest duo ever. :) Amy & Nick's harmonies, chemistry & sincere love for one another is just beautiful. Can't wait for their album in Feb '12!!
P.S. Amy Heidemann is one of the most GORGEOUS people I've ever seen! How does one person look & sound that amazing at all times?? Gah!! She can sing like an angel & rap like a machiiiine. Swag sandwiches ftw!
***Bones fans: OMG Booth & Brennan are finally together ahhh happy dance! :) After watching the S7 premiere I was like did that just happen? And no one's in a coma-book-dream?! SQUEE!!
Also, Emily Deschanel needs to give in already and start tweeting. We need more direct ways to shower her with love & praise her adorakable-isms! :D I want Zooey to return as Brennan's cousin on Bones and want Emily to guest on New Girl ASAP! (Let's wait not till it's season FIVE ok?) It'd be so cool to see Emily as a different character sharing the screen w/her lil sis.
