About City of Sanctuary
Since Sheffield became the UKs first City of Sanctuary in 2007, City of Sanctuary initiatives have grown up in towns and cities across Britain.
The movement aims to create a network of towns and cities that are proud to be places of safety for people escaping war and persecution.
There are currently City of Sanctuary initiatives in Sheffield, Leicester, Coventry, Bradford, Nottingham, Bristol, Swansea, Hull, Wakefield, Chester, Ipswich, Oxford and London. For more information or to get involved see our website at: www.cityofsanctuary.org
