Welcome to Daniel's Piano Lounge

Hi everybody, I'm Daniel. I was born in South Korea, but I was brought up in Aotearoa, the Land of the Long White Clouds, a.k.a New Zealand.

To support my family, I have been an ESL teacher in Korea for the past 8 years, but I think I sort of miss performing just a tad.

I guess this channel is about my neglected dream of being able to perform in front of people, but what's most important is that the "gift" or the "talent" that I once had was given by the almighty God.

I wish to acknowledge that He is the number one in my life and would like to utilize what He has given to me to the fullness of his glory.

I was trained in classical piano, but I have been playing in the church services since the age of 12, where I found the greatest joy and peace in playing contemporary christian music.

Later on, I was accepted to pursue further studies at Auckland University in Performance Piano.
