@gandhicakes They had an annual music festival called Sunfest. Gimli is a great summer resort town. The event was held at the old airport. Amazing times over the years, but this was certainly the best! And sadly, the last.

@spifkewl Ya, 54-40 was HUGE here around that time. Wouldn't say the crowd thinned, but then again I was at the front of the crowd and not really looking back. From what I remember they announced 50K people were there in that mud pit!

@Vortigern99 IMO opinion, one of the great bands of all time. I find that most professional musicians I know are the biggest fans. The talent was right through the whole band, not just Shannon. He was hard to see past though, being a once in a life time talent himself.
