Only Peter Cook could carry an entire show with four completely disparate characters like these and have them all be so perfectly done and absolutely hilarious. Constant laughter.

Good god what a genius. Cook paved the road of modern comedy in so many ways and, when you watch him, you realize that few comedians even deserve even to be in his shadow. He doesn't get near the credit he deserves. "She can serve drinks, but not peanuts at the same time."
