The Sharp Shotz Animation Competition is run in Bristol, UK, by the Positive Role Models Agency, in partnership with Aardman Animations and the University of the West of England.
The Positive Role Model Agency is a partnership between IDEAL a community action group, and George Francis, a local activist.

The competition asks 11-16 year olds to develop a story idea for a short animation that raises awareness on one of 2 categories - guns and knives or drugs. The ideas must also deliver a message that there are positive choices available.
The 2 winning teams each receive a unique Aardman made trophy and get to direct an animation student from UWE in the making of their films.
