About Official Sharon Kips YouTube Channel
Welcome to the official Sharon Kips YouTube channel.
Sharon Kips was born on November 17, 1983 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Her vocal talent was discovered by a schoolteacher and from that moment she started to follow vocal lessons. She was only seven at that time.
At age 14 she started to sing in the studio and by the age of 18 she was the first runner-up during Flevoland Songcontest. A few years later she entered the competition again, but this time she won the first prize.
In 2006 she joined the first edition of the Dutch X-Factor series and at the end of that series she came out as number one, becoming the first X-Factor winner in the Netherlands.
Her first single entered the Dutch charts at number one and her album (10) was launched shortly after that.
Currently Sharon is working on her second album that will be released in the 2nd half of 2009.
