About Me:

17 year old Siobhan Owen was born in Wales with Welsh and Irish heritage. Classically trained, Siobhan also turns her haunting soprano voice and delicate harp playing to a repertoire of traditional Celtic songs. At a young age she has already recorded three albums, won classical and folk performer awards and has played at many major festivals and concerts. A truly enchanting act!

Siobhan started playing harp mid 2008 after being inspired by French singer/harpist Cecile Corbel who invited Siobhan to sing at one of her Adelaide Fringe Festival Shows after they met on myspace!

You've got a wonderful voice, Siobhán! I look forward to more uploads from you in the future. I actually learnt to sing in Welsh off your rendition of Ar Hyd Y Nos :) I sing in Gaelic more, and I've never sung in Welsh before! I may learn the guitar part to do a cover version; I use a different account for uploading covers. Anyways, keep on bringing us the joy of your music :)

The Woodford Folk Festival videos show that it is possible to improve on perfection! It cannot be expressed strongly enough just how amazing you really are. Thank you for sharing your gift of music. I look forward to the day I will be able to watch you perform in person.

One of my favourite Welsh traditionals, and sung so beautifully! Thank you, Sioban.

You are just wonderful! Thank LiveIreland for putting you out there to its membership. I am taking voice lessons, but I'm nowhere near the diva that you are!
