I've been playing bass for 4 years now. completely self taught. the closest things I've had to a lesson is watching "how to" vids on youtube and taking an intro to music theory class.
I play a Squire by Fender tuned to C, and (occasionaly) a yamaha in standard. the only effect I have is a digitech bass overdrive/distortion pedal, though I try not to use it too much anymore.
also I like guns.
