The Emory character represents so much what I dislike in certain gay men- the mincing, effeminate, unreliable, selfish, attention-hungry, self-hating, untrustworthy, criminal, nut job. That stereotype needs to pass away! Whenever I run into a character like that at a party I go the other way.

Very nice program. BUT how could you talk about Zhenjiang without mentioning Pearl S. Buck 賽珍珠??? This was her hometown, she grew up in Zhenjiang! One can visit her parents' home there as well… 賽珍珠 was a great friend of China and a her novels acted as a bridge between China and the West.

I'm so PROUD of Wendy Williams. This is a beautiful tribute. So waht if she relates her personal experience, she's NOT being selfish, telling your own experience is part of the grief process and part of therapy.
