Open to suggestions.

About Me:
I am: yet what I am none cares or knows.
My friends forsake me like a memory lost,
I am the self-consumer of my woes-
They rise and vanish in oblivious host,
Like shadows in love's frenzied, stifled throes-
And yet I am and live - like vapors tossed.
Into the nothingness of scorn and noise,
Into the living sea of waking dreams,
Where there is neither sense of life or joys,
But the vast shipwreck of my life's esteems;
Even the dearest, that I love the best,
Are strange - nay, rather stranger than the rest.
I long for scenes, where man hath never trod,
A place where women never smiled or wept -
There to abide with my Creator, God,
And sleep as I in childhood sweetly slept,
Untroubling, and untroubled where I lie,
The grass below - above the vaulted sky.
-John Clarke
Up-Hill
Does the road wind up-hill all the way?
Yes, to the very end.
Will the day's journey take the whole long day?
From morn to night, my friend.
But is there for the night a resting place?
A roof for when the slow dark hours begin.
May not the darkness hide it from my face?
You cannot miss that inn.
Shall I meet other wayfarers at night?
Those who have gone before.
Then I must knock, or call when just in sight?
They will not keep you standing at that door.
Shall I find comfort, travel-sore and weak?
Of labor you shall find the sum.
Will there be beds for me and all who seek?
Yes, beds for all who come.
-Christina Rossetti

Channel Comments

almost friday, the weekend's here..:)
have you checked out user/stefbot? he has some interesting thoughts and arguments about why.
Here's food for thought... the Smurfs being made into a movie - proof the world is coming to an end? (just kidding I love the smurfs cartoon, but god why a movie!?)
but seriously, have you checked out any of these strange noises being reported around the world? There are a lot of obvious hoaxes out there, but there are some legit ones backed up by media... such as google "Strange noises reported around North Battleford" and click on the CTV News site (should be the first one in search). There is also information on websites such as wikipedia (search for "The Hum" and "The Train" on wiki).
Not sure if you have heard the buzz, but if you search for strange noises heard around world on youtube, you will see what I mean. Now this is an interesting debate if ever there was!
