@ThaddeusMarcum I think you're letting the connection with the music get to your head. I'm a huge fan of Malick and I never really got that vibe from the commercial. Now if the commercial had lots of flowing camerawork, nature shots, and internal philosophical monologue, I might change my mind.

@chavikri Plot isn't all that important in art-house cinema? Are you kidding me? Just because a plot is subtle does not mean it doesn't have a plot. And by the way, Irreversible's plot is ANYTHING, but subtle.

Love this work. Love it. Yet, it makes me feel extremely uncomfortable every single time I watch it. I love that Brakhage can find a way to just get to the root of visceral emotions.
