About ShadowlandFoundation's channel

Shadowland Foundation is a wolf education and advocacy non-profit organization whose mission is to educate children of all ages about the true nature of wolves to ensure their survival. Our pack of 8 wolves serve as ambassadors for their wild cousins and help us to dispel myths and misconceptions, demonstrating their significance and magnificence as a keystone and kindred species.

We here at Shadowland Foundation, Inc. are dedicated owners of three Alaskan Timber Wolf-hybrids, hand raised and trained to do wolf education programs for children of all ages. Their names are Shadow, Alaska and Takoda. Just as the organization was about to launch, on September 16, 2008 Shadow was diagnosed with an inoperable sarcoma and given a death sentence. Over a year later she is alive and well due to the efforts of several courageous doctors, holistic and medical, and to the new technology at CSU in Ft. Collins. She was successfully treated with SRS. In her honor we created the Shadowland Foundation, Inc. to tell the world about saving wolves, both from cancer and from being eradicated.

Paul is an Arborist. For 30 years his primary company is the renowned Tree King Tree Service, Inc. He not only trains animals, but is famous for rescuing them. Colette has been in ecuation all of her life. Teaching swimming, gymnastics, acting, public speaking and now wolf eucation programs. An actress by profession she is an accomplished filmaker and writer as well.
