Wow...just wow. You're trying to tell me OoT didn't have gimmicks? How about the fact it was the 1st 3D Zelda? You can travel through time? You can use an analog stick? Gimmicks aren't a bad thing, they're a selling point and Skyward Sword's selling point was 1:1 motion controls and it worked. It was a great game and I have a feeling you only played through a little bit, not at all, or played the entire thing but biased because it's on the Wii/motion controls. Either way, it was good and definitely better than OoT. OoT was outstanding for it's time, but go back to it after all of the Zelda on the GC and Wii and it'll feel old and archaic, like for me.
