When he was 19 he lived for some time with a Native American tribe , Paolo describes it as one of the most profound experiences he's ever done. The tattoo that Paolo has on his right forearm, depicts the legendary Native American warrior "Crazy Horse", he wanted to dedicate it after knowing the great-grandson Duane Hollow Horn Bear in the tribe.
He is a huge fan of the television series "Family Guy".
In 2010 he was almost arrested by Los Angeles police after an argument in the famous club Viper Room, Paolo raised his elbow a little too much that night, although he describes the prank very funny because the band playing in the club that night was very interesting.
He has a cat called "unknown" and spends all his money in instruments
In 2007 Paolo received a gold medal at the championships Shorei Kan Karate International.
The surgery that he underwent when he had his accident is considered one of the first ever made in Italy in 2003.
Paolo is very keen on native american and oriental philosophy. He loves Indian flutes and Okinawas martial arts. He also has a great interest in cinema. Paolo is a very reserved person and he doesn't like to call himself a drummer or an artist, but simply prefer to define himself a music's "artisan".

A great personality that has influenced Paolo is the flamboyant singer Ian Anderson, Paolo even has a tattoo on his left shoulder depicting Ian Anderson playing the flute. Paolo listens and appreciates all styles of music without prejudice, this is why he always says, "We must learn from everything that our ears hear and our hearts feel to be able to create something interesting"
