The drum sounds amazing, weird though because Alex always used a metal snare but this has his sound.....Ludwig has really become back around with regards to quality and esthetics. I left them in 1987 and moved to Sonor but I think it's time to rediscover Ludwig.

I've owned this particular drum and the newer version (6x14) and sold both off. Their so heavy to carry around and the weight really doesn't add to the power of the sound.
