rycard473... The Nerf Vortex Lumitron and Nerf N-Strike Rayven are slated to be at dept stores in Singapore around March 2012, which means they will probably be popping up sometime this week or next. As always, i will be posting stock news updates on my SG Nerf blog site once they appear on local store shelves (along with their retail prices).

A new Nerf Blaster coming out is Vortex Lumitron, its Glow-In-The-Dark, doesn't need batteries for the Blaster just for the disc magazine, Is Singapore selling the vortex Lumitron and Rayven.

Once you bought the Rayven, which store did you buy them and how much does it cost.

In Australia the Big-W is selling the Rayven CS-18 and price is $38.84. I wanna get the Rayven because its motorised and Glow-in-the-Dark features.

Jacob13370... Those are the upcoming Nerf N-Strike Elite Rampage and Retaliator (improved versions of the Raider and Recon, along with new accessories), there are early photos of the box art already posted up online, just do a google search and check them out. I will be posting up reviews on them soon! :)

Sgnerf, i was visiting your website, then i saw n-strike elite video. I think i saw a recon with differend stock and stampedes bipod. Are they modify and release nstrike blasters with some changes? What do you think about that?

MylesDaMan11... So far, as long as good quality foam darts are used, i've found the Rayven to be relatively jam-free. I've also noticed that the overall chance of it jamming seems a lot lower than in a Barricade though, most likely due the the difference in ammo feed system, ie. clip vs turret.
MylesDaMan11 (5 days ago)
That's what i was thinking but does the Rayven jam like the Barricade since they are both Semi-Auto blasters? I also like the Nitron for it's storage slot because i have a Nerf Lumitron and I'd like to use that clip for the storage slot. I'm just worried about jams occuring on the blaster.

MylesDaMan11... If just comparing between those two models, since both are also flywheel blasters, i would prefer the Rayven... mainly because it is alot more compact and lighter, so its much easier to use in Nerf games. The Rayven also uses foam darts as ammo, instead of foam discs which are not compatible with the other N-Strike blasters outside of the Vortex model range.

In addition, although the stock range of a Nitron is longer, the foam discs fly at a slower speed so they are easier to dodge. Foam darts fired from a Rayven have a quicker velocity, and the range and speed increases further after modding is done.

I'm stuck between getting the Rayven CS-18 and the Vortex Nitron. On your opinion, which blaster performs better?
