from Women And Children First(1970)
Thanks for posting this album. I've been curious about it for some time. The guitar work is killer, but the singer sounds like he has that whiskey voice!

The Beltones "Fuck You Anyway" live in San Francisco @ Thee Parkside 12/16/11
"Fuck you anyway" live... Sorry about the video footage i had to grab the mic during the last part and sing along.... since it was the last song.. ...
Beltones rule. I was psyched to be at this show. Bill hinted to me that these reunion shows they've been doing this last month is a little inspiring to maybe keep it going and put out another record. Fingers crossed!

Cat Stevens - Father and Son Original
el video clip original
This is such a wonderful tune. I wish people could keep their irrelevant comments to themselves. No need to talk about religion on this thread; he had nothing to do with it at this time. It's like people who cannot speak of Thomas Jefferson without obsessing over his affairs with Sally Hemings...

Phil and the Frantics - I Must Run
mid 60s garage from Phoenix, Arizona. Phil & the Frantics had a Zombies influenced sound. This 45 was produced by Waylon Jennings.
This song is captivating and bordering on perfection. A perfect tune for rainy day melancholy. This tune and "Pain" and "Say What You Will" are all amazing. Phil and The Frantics should be up there with the more known bands!

I forgot about this band. I remember them being among some of the first bands in the late '80s to incorporate some melodic flair to their sound. It didn't really sit too well with most of us (Uniform Choice's 2nd LP will never be as good as "Screaming for Change." That said, this sounds much b...
