The San Francisco Conservatory of Music, located right in the heart of San Francisco's Civic Center, has joined the artistic and intellectual community of San Francisco Symphony, Opera, Ballet, Asian Art Museum, Main Library, and numerous other cultural and educational institutions.

Anyone who visits our campus experiences an endeavor and mutual respect shared by our students and faculty, as well as the exceptionally high artistic and educational expectations we hold for ourselves.

In fall, 2008, the Conservatory began its 92nd year of service to music in our community and the world. In our new home, we are committed to helping our students realize their musical dreams for the foreseeable future and through the second century of the Conservatory's existence.

The San Francisco Conservatory of Music is one of the leading schools of music on the West Coast. We offer many free or low-cost recitals, concerts, and guest artists to the Bay Area community and welcome new student musicians from all over the world.
