You should totally go for it. There are actually a lot of parts these days for older people. I didn't start acting until this year and I just turned 40 (and apparently also look embarrassingly young haha) The way I started was I was talking to my 16 year old son. He asked me what he should do with his life. I told him that he should "do the thing that scares you the most" and he said, "Well, what scares you the most?" I told him it was acting. SO he challenged me to do it. The next day I booked an audition. Go for it! It is never too late. A woman in a film I'm working on started at 60 and she books gigs all the time. Namaste.
