Thanks for your reply. I fished there for the first time about 25 years ago. A friend showed it to me as his favorite secret fishing spot. Adams creek is great fishing. I looked on a map one time to see where it comes from and found it is fed by a lake. That explains the huge pan fish throughout. I caught a 26 inch brown out of the pool closest to the river, but as you move up it's mostly natives. It also seemed that they were smaller and more numerous as we went higher. In the upper pools when we put our bait in, the water boiled with fish fighting over it. Try iit out. It's not a fishing trip for the faint of heart or those who are out of shape, but it's well worth it.
