My God and I
Until Then
Daddy, Will You Be There For Me?
Redeemed
There is Power in the Blood
The Tears
Thanks to God
What A Day That Will Be
At Calvary
You Are Mine
His Eye is on the Sparrow
Great is Thy Faithfulness
Where Will You Spend Eternity?
What A Friend We Have in Jesus
Arise, My Soul, Arise
All the Way My Saviour Leads Me
I Will Sing the Wondrous Story
It Is Well With My Soul
God Leads Us Along
Beyond the Sunset
The Sweet By and By
Amazing Grace
God Will Take Care of You
The Love of God
Saved, Saved!
We Rest on Thee
'Til the Storm Passes By
Without His Cross
Who Am I?
Higher Ground (I'm Pressing on the Upward Way)
My Saviour's Love
He Still Came
And Can It Be (Amazing Love)
For Those Tears I Died
Alas! and Did My Saviour Bleed?
Pardon Me, O My God - Anabaptist Martyr Hymn
Abide With Me
Beautiful Saviour (Fairest Lord Jesus)
Nobody Fills My Heart Like Jesus
Crossing the Bar
The Shadows of the Evening Hours
The Sands of Time are Sinking
Nearer, My God, to Thee
Come, Gracious Spirit
Softly and Tenderly
Blessed Assurance
My Jesus, I Love Thee
Rock of Ages
Jesus, Lover of my Soul

WHAT THE NEW TESTAMENT SAYS ABOUT CHURCH MUSIC (these quotes from the Bible are the standard of authority why the Anabaptists practice unaccompanied singing in worship) :

And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives - Matt 26:30; Mark 14:26.

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God - Acts 16:25.

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19).

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord (Colossians 3:16).

What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.(1 Corinthians 14:15)

WHAT DID CHRISTIAN TEACHERS FROM DIFFERENT GROUPS SAY ABOUT CHRISTIAN MUSIC IN WORSHIP (while most of these people quoted belong to both groups, Catholic and Protestant, that persecuted the early Anabaptists in the 16th century, they were correct in their understanding of the simplicity of new testament worship unaided by machines. This also shows that historically most churches practiced unaccompanied singing in church worship) :

http://www.surfinthespirit....

"Our church does not use musical instruments, as harps and psalteries, to praise God withal, that she may not seem to Judaize." (Thomas Aquinas, Catholic)

"Musical Instruments in celebrating the praises of God would be no more suitable than the burning of incense, the lighting of lamps, and the restoration of the other shadows of the law. " (John Calvin, Presbyterian)

"I have no objection to instruments of music in our chapels, provided they are neither heard nor seen." (John Wesley, Methodist)

"The organ in the worship service is a sign of Baal." (Martin Luther, Protestant)

"We might as well pray by machinery as sing by it" and "Israel was at school, and used childish things to help her learn; but in these days when Jesus gives us spiritual food, one can make melody without strings and pipes... we do not need them. That would hinder rather than help our praise. Sing unto Him. This is the sweetest and best music. No instrument like the human voice." (Charles Spurgeon, Baptist)

sesamonte To everyone who are posting comments in my channel, thank you so much. I just regret that I cannot reply to each one of you. I am also sorry that I do not have any control on the inclusion of verses in the songs, some songs might be complete, while others only include selected verses, this purely depends on the people who produced the recordings. May you be blessed with the songs, and God be glorified.

Thanks for such a beautiful sacred collection. However, please can I clarify your terms of use. As with most Youtubes, I see that I can copy the link or embed. Insofar as I can copy the link I could then download the music to play in church meetings. - Is this permissible?

I feel that there is nothing wrong in doing this as most of the songs have credits which point viewers to want to buy the complete recordings.

I support acapella worship singing. But I think the way it was explained to me long ago was sufficient. "We do not see the use of musical instruments in the New Testament." There is no need to go overboard with all the quotes from people whom we would not fellowship with, if they were here. Nor to refer to "machines."

Respectfully and simply.
Michael.

As a new Anabaptist I have a new appreciation for acapella music. As an old Christian I am blest to find you and enjoy your work. I have long preferred the plainer, more congregational style hymns. Now I have a place to hear them, and it is this blessed place. Thank you.
