Couldn't the flashes just be glass from the windows breaking due to the extreme heat from the fire, or from the building starting to buckle from stress of the fatigued metal where the fire is located at? I'm no expert... just asking.

@BruinsFan731 The circumstances and conditions that were present when that statement was made were much different. Not to mention, mass transit air travel didn't exist back then either. I don't think Ben Franklin would use that statement for what's going on here.

@gstrike79 Nothing. All this shows is some guy who has forgotten what's going on in the world and doesn't understand what's being done is not only to protect the passengers onboard the plane, but himself as well, and also folks on the ground that the plane will be flying over.
