@CloudsBeyond think... as a martial arts instruktor, what are you supposed to teach for example to a 50 year old woman who wants to learn how to defend herself agains somebody of brocks size. you would probably tell her to start lifting weights till she could out wrestle brock. why not teach her ...

@smallguy: Dont move back so much. If he tries to kick you with a roundhouse just counter kick him between his legs or on his supporting knie with a front kick. But be carefull its really dangerous if you can't controll your kick you could hurt your training partner.

I think for this technik you need at least some basic wrestling skills. It will work against a striker but If your oponent has a wrestling background he could take you to the ground.
