I am a language teacher and an avid language learner who finds the Web an incredible source of opportunities to learn new languages. This channel aims at putting together some of my lessons and hopefully help out other language learners.
Portuguese is my native language and English is the foreign language in which I am the most proficient. Right now I'm taking my first steps into French and I am really enjoying it.
I believe that learning a foreign language is a fascinating experience as it opens the doors to different cultures and enriches our understanding of the world.
In my experience as a learner/teacher I have noticed that this intriguing discovery process becomes more meaningful when pronunciation practice is systematically dealt with.
Therefore, in my YouTube videos, you'll find a variety of real-life situations and samples of colloquial speech, with an emphasis on prosodic features such as intonation, stress and rhythm.
